[English] 영화를 보고 뭐가 좋았는지 설명할 때 사용하게 되는 여러가지 기본 표현

Example 1

진짜 재밌었어.
It was really good.

스토리도 좋고 연기도 훌륭했어.
The story was good and the acting was fantastic.

여기저기 웃긴 요소들을 포함시킨 것도 너무 좋았어.
I liked how(that) they added some comedy here and there.
(I liked how + S + V: ~가 너무 좋았어)

안그랬으면 전반적으로 너무 진지한 느낌이었을 것 같지 않아?
Otherwise, don’t you think it would’ve felt too serious throughout the entire movie?

그리고 너무 유명하지도 않으면서 좋은 배우들을 잘 캐스팅 한 것 같아.

사실 너무 유명한 배우를 보고 있으면 그 캐릭터가 아닌 그 배우만 보이는 경우가 많잖아.
Actually when you are watching a really famous star, more often than not, you see the actor or actress rather than(instead of) the character.
(more often than not: ~하는 경우가 많잖아)

Example 2

괜찮았는데 기대만큼은 아니었어.
It was OK, it wasn’t as good as I had hoped. (I’d hoped)

스토리의 구성이 좀 별로였던 것 같아.
I feel like the story wasn’t very well-structured.

말이 안되는 장면들이 몇 개 있었는데 그거 때문에 헷갈렸어.
I mean there were a few scenes that didn’t really make sense.
