[English] The way things are
“지금 이대로”라는 표현을 영어로 할 때 the way things are 이라는 말을 일상생활에서 자주 사용한다. 브레이킹 배드 라는 미드에서도 이 말이 사용된 경우가 있다.
Saul: You mind if I give you a nickel’s worth of advice? Just for old time’s sake? you’re worried about your wife and kids? Don’t leave. The way things are now, some people–Not me, mind you…but some people might say you’re leaving her high and dry.

Example
지금 이대로 충분히 만족하고 있어.
I’m pretty happy with the way things are right now.
I’m pretty happy with the way things currently are.
상황이 이렇게 흘러간다면 나는 게임에서 질 것 같아.
If the way things are going, I may lose the game.
이런 상황에서라면 나는 새 아파트를 살 수 없어.
The way things are, I can’t buy a new APT.
이런 상태로 흘러가면, 우린 위험해질지 몰라.
The way things are going, we might be dangerous.
너는 지금 이대로를 사랑하는 법을 배워야 해.
You have to learn how to love the way things are now.
