1st Story
월요일마다 난 온라인으로 몇 가지 물건을 사. 그리고 각 상품을 일주일에 걸쳐서 다른 날에 배송 받도록 해.
On Mondays, I go online and order a few things and I schedule the deliveries so that each item arrives on different days throughout the week.
그것들은 내가 정말 필요한 것은 아니야.
They don’t have to be anything I really need.
단지 내 삶에 약간의 편리함이나 즐거움을 주면 아무거나 돼.
Just anything that adds a little bit of comfort or joy in my life.
스마트폰 케이스나 싼 선글라스가 이렇지.
It could be a smartphone case or a cheap pair of sunglasses.
취지는 내 자신에게 새로운 주를 시작하면서 기대할 것을 주는 목적이야.
The idea is to give myself something to look forward to as I start a new week.
바보 같은 걸 알지만 월요일에 날 확실히 기분 좋게 만들어.
I know it’s stupid but it certainly puts me in a better mood on Mondays.
2nd Story
그냥 친구가 많은게 좋아 아니면 진짜 친한 친구 몇 명 있는게 좋아?
Would you rather have many casual friends or just a few very close friends?
난 근데 둘 다 있어.
But I already have both.
음 좋아, 그럼 이제부터 하나만 고를 수 있다고 치자.
OK. Well, then let’s say you just have to choose one or the other and that’ll be it from now on.
음, 친구가 많은건 재밌지. 근데 나이가 들면서 가끔씩 피곤해지긴 해.
Well, I gotta say, having a lot of friends is fun. But I do find it a bit exhausting at times, especially as I get older.
모든 사람들은 자신의 마음을 터 놓고 이야기 할 수 있는 사람이 필요하다 생각해.
I think everybody needs people they can really open up to.
그럼 내가 하나만 선택해야 한다면, 난 몇몇의 친한 친구들을 가지는 걸 고를 것 같아. 너는 어때?
So, if I had to choose one or the other, I guess I’d choose to have a few very close friends. How about you?
3rd Story
If you swear by something, it means you can always count on it.
만약 너가 어떤것에 믿고 맡길 수 있으면, 이 말은 넌 항상 그걸 믿고 기대 할 수 있어.
일이 많이 밀렸어요.
I have a lot of work to catch up on.
