“내 말은” / “내 결론은”
“내 말은” 이라는 말로 내가 하려는 말의 의미를 나타낼 때 영어로는 “My point is” 로 할 수 있다. 또 다른 방식으로는 “The point I’m trying to make is” 로도 표현이 가능하다.
- My point is: 내 말은
- The point I’m trying to make (get to) is: 내 결론은
- What I mean is (that): 내 말은
- What I’m trying to say is: 내가 하고 싶은 말은
Example
내 말은, 완벽한 타이밍이라는 것은 없다는거야.
My point is (that) there’s no such thing as the perfect timing.
내 결론은, 돈을 얼마를 벌더라도 돈을 절약하는 법을 배워야 한다는 거야.
The point (that) I’m trying to make (get to) is no matter how much you earn, you have to learn to save money.
내 말은, 너가 정말 오고 싶은게 아니면 안와도 돼.
What I mean is (that), you don’t have to come if you don’ really want to.
그러니까 내가 하고 싶은 말은, 이런건 시간이 걸린다는거야. 좀 더 참고 기다려야 돼.
I guess what I’m trying to say is (that) these things take time. You just have to be a little patient.
내 말은, 가장 중요한건 계속해서 아이한테 알려주는게 중요하다는거야.
My point is most important thing is to keep teaching kids.
그러니까 내가 결론적으로 하고 싶은 얘기는 너한테 달렸다는거야.

난 그냥 너가 조심하는게 좋다고 말하는거 뿐이야, 걔를 안지 몇 주 밖에 안됐잖아.
