Up until a year ago, we were complete strangers.
근데 어떤 파티에서 만나고 나서, 우리는 아주 가까워졌어.
But after we met at a party, we got really close.
지금은 제일 친한 친구가 됐어.
Now, we have become best friends.
나 엄청 아팠었어.
I was really sick.
근데 시간이 좀 지나서 많이 나아졌어.
But after some time, I got a lot better.
그리고 지금은 완전이 치유됐어.
And now I’ve become completely cured.
걔 우리반에서 제일 느린 애였어.
He used to be the slowest person in our class. (used to: 예전에는)
근데 걔 진짜 열심히 운동해서 훨씬 빨라졌어.
But he exercised really hard, and he got much faster.
그리고 지금 걘 우리반에서 가장 빠른 사람이 됐어.
And, he has become the fastest person in our class.
거기 얘전엔 완전 텅텅 비었어.
That place used to be completely empty.
근데 개발을 많이 하더니 인기 많아졌어.
But after a lot of development, the place got much more popular.
그래서 지금은 우리 동네에서 가장 인기 많은 지역중 하나가 됐어.
And now it has become one of the most popular places in my neighborhood.
